Second Life Economy up 94%

The latest report from Linden Labs, the creator of Second Life, is that the economy is up 94% in the last quarter. The robust growth is due to an ever increasing realization that virtual worlds have immense ROI. Cost avoidance is often listed as the number one reason businesses are utilizing the virtual world. Many companies report that using virtual worlds for training and education… Continue

It’s… Continue

Hello Jan,

How are you? I am fine.

Please go ahead with your idea for the sixth aniversary and I will check it up.

I just understood that EWPC is about a renaissance of the power industry, not posted yet. In what is posted, I coined the IOUs and EWPC Architecture Frameworks as IOUs-AF and EWPC-AF as two very different paradigms, whose attraction is about specific arrangements (not posted either) commercial, regulatory, contractual, ownership arrangements that get phased locked.

The incremental extensions of the IOUs-AF have a big flaw that separated transmission from distribution to develop organized wholesale markets that work with first generation retailers. That flaw is being extended on the Smart Grid, making those huge experiments similar to those of the reengineering revolution, where 75% projects failed.

Do check some of the most recent www.energyblogs.com/ewpc articles for more details.

Regards,

José Antonio

Hello Jan,
I keep trying to push SL. Many find it interesting, but not enough to get involved. The UPR shied away from it. And the proposal for tje PR Department of Education (DE) could not be submitted at the last minute, because our University is not approving proposals for the DE (due to a huge debt that still has not been payed).
I have a presentation on Thursday, at the annual meeting of the Association of Private Schools. Hope to recruit some schools... let’s see what happens.

Hola Jan.
